I am a second-generation Alaskan, born and raised in Fairbanks. In 2006, at the age of fourteen, I began working in my family’s placer gold mining business in Fox, Alaska. I graduated from Fairhill Christian school in 2010 and chose to pursue a degree in mining engineering. In 2017 I graduated from the University of Alaska Fairbanks with a B.S. in mining engineering. Ready to hang up my placer mining hat, I moved to Nevada with my wife for my first engineering job. When a local engineering position opened up in 2019, we were able to move back home, just North of Fairbanks. My wife Danielle and I have two beautiful daughters, and my family means the world to me. The driving force for me in seeking public office is to give the people of district 36 a candidate who has sustainability at the forefront of my priorities, ensuring that our children can be afforded a wonderful up-bringing in the Interior of Alaska.

After Mike Cronk withdrew from the House race and chose to run for Senate seat R, I could not sit by any longer and hope that some other conservative would step up. Leaving the comfort of our homestead and Interior stomping grounds to represent the people of district 36 in Juneau would be an honor, privilege, and truly a community service commitment.

As a senior mine engineer by trade, I believe my experience and skills will be of benefit in the realm of budgeting and strategic planning for the future of our state.
I believe in fiscal sustainability and accountability. Protecting the statutory PFD from excessive POMV draws for state revenue is imperative and a large focus of my campaign.

I look forward to meeting and hearing from those in district 36!
